Openlands is a Chicago-based not-for-profit organization dedicated to protecting the natural spaces of Northeastern Illinois.  Its new Web site employs the Joomla content management system to enable staff members to easily update the site themselves. The Openlands Web site also integrates e-mail newsletters, events calendars, secure e-commerce, document management, photo galleries and custom Google maps.

Services provided include consulting, project management, graphic design, Web design and production, and implementation of Web application functionality (including content management, e-commerce, e-newsletters, events calendars, document management, photo galleries, etc.).

Town & Country Distributors is an Illinois-based distributor of beverage products in the Chicago area.  Its new Web site features a custom, beer-centric design and a cross-indexed directory of their entire beverage portfolio, implemented within a content management system to allow easy updates by staff members.

Provided services include consulting, project management, graphic design, Web site design and templating, content management system implementation, image production, and Web server setup and configuration.

Ann Becker and Associates Inc. provides a variety of strategy consulting, organizational development and meeting design services. In particular, they work extensively with programs of the National Science Foundation, enabling communication and networking through meetings and online tools.

The abecker.com Web site was developed to retain an existing site design while enabling easy content management functionality for Ann Becker and Associates staffers.  The Joomla content management system powers an easy editing and site management interface, including an events calendar component, a searchable networking directory powered by the SOBI2 Joomla extension, and a dynamic (and easy-to-manage) photo gallery application.

The Simone's Web site promotes and supports the activities of Simone's, a bar and grill in the Pilsen neighborhood of Chicago. Having opened in the winter of 2009, Simone's uses its well-trafficked Web site for informational marketing, patron and community communication, and to generate buzz about upcoming events. The site integrates multiple Flash elements and uses Web applications to power content management, photo gallery, event calendar and e-mail newsletter systems.

Brendan Houlihan is an incumbent candidate for the Cook County (Illinois) Board of Review, an important safeguard and service provider for property taxpayers in the Chicago area.  His Joomla-powered Web site enables his staff to easily keep the site updated with content and services designed to support his 2009/2010 reelection campaign.

Provided services include complete soup-to-nuts Web site design and development, including server administration/configuration, Web site architecture and visual design, Joomla content management system implementation and customization, content production and copy editing, and support and documentation.

Robert Kameczura is a Chicago-based artist who has been described as "the next Ed Paske" by noted collector June Spiezer.  His Web site is designed to feature his art, provide information about his background and activities, and connect him with potential buyers and patrons. The home page features a changing image that randomly pulls from all of the hundreds of gallery images on his site.

Kameczura.com uses Joomla to power content management functionality, including automated management and presentation of image galleries, including watermarking, image resizing and presentation in multiple formats, including pop-ups and slideshows. Provided services include graphic design, Web design, Web development, server setup and implementation of content management functionality.
